After a few years of helping train fighters, Coach Eric decided it was time to start something of his own and founded Elevation Combat in January 2023. ​

 

Pivoting from the original vision, Coach Eric continued to train fighters and practitioners independently, and in September 2024, was invited to join SG Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gym as a Muay Thai coach. ​

 

Coach Eric is an experienced Muay Thai competitor, amateur WAKO national gold medalist, TBA World Expo (B-Class) semifinalist, and fought on some of the best sanctioned Muay Thai promotions in the midwest at the time. ​

 

Coach Eric has trained with a number of coaches domestically and abroad. Including stops in Las Vegas, Ko Samui, Bangkok and Rio de Janeiro. Having sought knowledge and learned from many, he brings a broad perspective of understanding to his training structure and teaching style.
